Mrs. Aldiss brought her pet cat, Toby, to George Holley after Toby got into a fight with a dog in 1938. Holley had just removed ten stitches from Toby's side when Wilf Latchett called about his woolly mammoth, Old Bill. Holley made sure the housekeeper, Mrs. Kitchen, collected payment from Mrs. Aldiss.[1]
