Mooers in Southern VictoryEdit

Mooers was close to the border with the Republic of Quebec, situated just south of Montreal. Because of its location, a major railroad line connecting the two countries ran through Mooers and so the U.S. established a Customs Inspection post in town. In 1941, Dr. Leonard O'Doull was detained briefly by customs inspectors while his story of rejoining the U.S. Army Medical Corps was checked out.
