Miami-Herald

The Miami Herald is a daily newspaper in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1903, it is the largest newspaper in South Florida, serving Miami-Dade, Broward County and Monroe County, and circulates throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

In a May 9, 1942 article, the Miami Herald criticized the United States Navy for its inability to sink many of the German submarines prowling the Atlantic coast, leaving the subs to sink U.S. ships with (apparent) impunity.[1]
