Melissa Solters is the husband of John Solters and mother of Jeremy Solters and Amanda Solters.She works for the Crosstime Traffic (company) and travels to Agrippan Rome along with her family as a trader.
She provides moral support to Amanda when she is depressed about the problem of slavery in the alternate.She soon falls sick and is taken to the home timeline,her husband accompanying her.They leave their children behind.
Soon after the adults' departure,the children lose contact with the home timeline and are left in their own.
