Martin was the name Henry Quick gave to a leader of a pack of sims in the wilds of North America. In 1814, the sim traded some pelts to Quick in exchange for an ax. When Quick was injured by a bear, Martin decided to take Quick in, believing (correctly) that Quick could provide more advanced tools for his band of sims.
Martin grew proficient with the hatchet and the bow-and-arrow. However, his decision to keep Quick alive was taken as a sign of weakness by Caesar, another male of the group. At the end of winter, Caesar challenged Martin. The two fought, and Martin slew Caesar. However, Martin's hamstring was cut by one of Caesar's supporters, an injury Quick could not heal, condemning the whole band of sims to a terrible fate.
