The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a small landlocked parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy in Western Europe. It is bordered by France, Germany, and Belgium. Consequently, Luxembourg was invaded by Germany during both World Wars, and was actually annexed by the Greater German Reich during World War II. It was liberated in 1945.

Luxembourg is a founding member of the European Union, NATO, and several other multinational organizations.

Luxembourg in The Hot War

Luxembourg was a NATO member when World War III began. By July 1951, there was a very real possibility that the Soviet Red Army and its allies would cross overwhelmed West Germany and invade Luxembourg. In response, the United States dropped several atomic bombs on the Soviets' forward positions in West Germany, destroying a sizable chunk of their military and forcing a retreat from Luxembourg.

Luxembourg in The War That Came Early

Luxembourg was invaded by Germany in late 1938. It remained occupied until the Committee for the Salvation of the German Nation overthrew the Nazis in April 1944, and set about withdrawing German forces from western Europe.

Luxembourg in Worldwar

Luxembourg had been occupied by Germany before the Race Invasion of Earth. As part of the terms of the Peace of Cairo of 1944, Luxembourg remained part of the Greater German Reich.
