Louise Pierce was a professor of environmental science at Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts, and a descendant of Ammi Pierce. Ammi Pierce had barely survived the alien contact at the Gardner farm in 1882. Like many others in Arkham, Louise Pierce refused to drink water from the reservoir for fear that the alien was still there, even after more than eighty years of dilution.[1]
Pierce led protests against the new Donald Trump hotel in Arkham, as it used the water from the reservoir. Trump agreed to meet with her on the day of the hotel's official grand opening, and pleaded with him not use the water for his hotel. She pointed out that Arkham had higher levels of mental health issues and birth defects, and confirmed that most people drank bottled water from out of state.[2] Trump dismissed her concerns as "fake news" , pointing out that experts had confirmed the water was safe. To prove the point, he drank water from the reservoir in front of her.[3] She expressed her concerns again, but took her leave when she realized he wasn't going to listen.[4]
Pierce did not know that Yithian named Pmurt had taken up residence inside Trump's body.
