Lord Father Winter was an evil sky-god feared by the indigenous people of Orkney in the 12th century BC. Winter was in a constant feud with the Mother of the Sea, the chief protectress of all humanity. Although the sea was not his domain, Winter had the allegiance of the monster of Klevey, who lived in the sea and did his best to sabotage the Mother's works from within.
