Liebenau is a town in the district of Kassel, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the river Diemel, 25 km northwest of the city of Kassel.

Liebenau in The Hot War[]

Liebenau was one of many West German towns smashed during World War III. Soviet forces had retreated from the town by May 1952.[1]
