Larry Niven was an important subject in Professor Jennifer Logan's class on Middle English science fiction.

Larry Niven in "Hindsight"[]

Michelle Gordian plagiarized several of Larry Niven's works for her "Mark Gordian" persona in the 1950s, including "Neutron Star",[1] "At the Core", "The Handicapped",[2] and "The Hole Man".[3] Gordian's publication of "Neutron Star" caused excitement among astronomers at the very concept.[4]
