Laon Pakhymer was a Khatrisher mercenary captain who served the Empire of Videssos. He was an intelligent and playful man who looked like a little boy with a pockmarked face and a beard.[1]. His command consisted of light cavalry.
After the Battle of Maragha, Pakhymer and his soldiers always fought with the Ronams who they had met in the battlefield and assisted each other in surviving the retreat.
