A technician from Korea assisted Palestinian security police in their hunt for four Second Irgun terrorists in Azor. At the home of an old woman known as Jael, the Korean laid out his sensors and went to work. After an hour and a half, he determined - incorrectly - that the terrorists were not in the house.[1]
Yakov, one of the terrorists just barely missed by the sweep, knew what a close call the four had just had. Korean technicians were regarded the world over as de facto secret policemen, extremely likely to pick up something a Palestinian bumbler would miss.[2]
