Komitta Rhangavve was a Videssian noblewoman, and mistress of Thorisin Gavras, who was the brother of Avtokrator Mavrikios Gavras. When Thorisin became Avtokrator himself, Komitta remained by his side as a kind of unofficial queen-consort. She had many lovers while still attached to Thorisin, including Viridovix the Gaul.
