The sea monster Klevey was an evil god or demigod feared by the indigenous people of Orkney in the 12th century BC. Although he lived in the realm of the Mother of the Sea, chief protectress of all humanity, Klevey was in allegiance to Lord Father Winter, god of the sky and enemy of mankind, and did his best to sabotage the Mother's works from within.
