The Kingdom of Berry was a Muslim kingdom carved out of France shortly after the Great Black Deaths decimated the country's population. It shared a border with the Christian Kingdom of Versailles. The founders were Berbers. In 2096, it was ruled by King Abdallah.

While Berry tolerated Christians, the Muslim kingdom put heavy restrictions on their ability to practice openly. Christians were also subject to a heavy tax. Consequently, the number of Christians in Berry had declined throughout the centuries as many saw converting to Islam the lesser of evils.
