The Jungle was a wild, overgrown area near Viziersville, Parthenia Province. When Marshal Bart began his invasion of southern Parthenia during the Detinan Civil War, he battled Duke Edward of Arlington's Army of Southern Parthenia for the first time in the Jungle. Bart was defeated, but not badly enough to prevent him from continuing to plunge northward, toward Nonesuch.
Literary Comment[]
The Battle of the Jungle is based on the American Civil War's Battle of the Wilderness, where Ulysses S. Grant met Robert E. Lee in battle for the first time.
