Ivor MacSvensson is an important secondary character in L. Sprague de Camp's 1940 short work, "The Wheels of If". He is a New Belfast political boss of the Diamond Party, and an important nemesis of Allister Park, who eventually defeats him via a clever legalistic method.
Ivor MacSvensson in "The Pugnacious Peacemaker"Edit
In 1941, Ib Scoglund, formerly Allister Park, met Mankoo, chief of Iipiisjuuna, who reminded him of a red-skinned, half-naked version of his old nemesis Ivor MacSvensson. Iipiisjuuna people were in the habit of getting out of Mankoo's way, much as New Belfasters would have for MacSvensson.
