Ilingua was a gray-furred veteran serving aboard the Indomitable in 2039. His fears about the scout pilots' reports of Earth were dismissed by Captain Togram, who felt that a soldier as experienced as Ilingua should know better than to believe such silly rumors without proof.[1] Ilingua commanded the right flank squad during the battle of UCLA, where the Roxolani found out the initial reports had been correct, to their sorrow.[2]
