In Norse mythology, Huginn (Old Norse "thought") and Muninn ("memory" or "mind") are a pair of ravens that fly all over Midgard (Earth) and bring information to back to Asgard for the prophetic god Odin. Huginn and Muninn are attested in the 13th-century Eddas, and appear to be depicted in art dating back to the 10th or 11th century. Huginn and Muninn's role as Odin's messengers has been linked to shamanic practices, the Norse raven banner, general raven symbolism among the Germanic tribes, and the Norse concepts of personal guardian spirits.
Huginn and Muninn informed Odin that Rollo was destined to do quite well for himself in northernFrancia. Fenia found this assurance very comforting.[1]
