"Hoofer" is a science fiction short story by Laura Frankos, published in Analog Science Fiction and Fact, July 1993.
In New York City in 1938, Maureen Harrigan is a chorus line dancer, or "hoofer," in Cole Porter's new play Leave It To Me on Broadway.
