The Honolulu Star-Bulletin was a daily newspaper in Honolulu, Hawaii. Established in 1912 with the merger of two earlier papers, the Star-Bulletin went defunct in 2010 after merging with the Honolulu Advertiser.

Honolulu Star-Bulletin in "News From the Front"[]

The Honolulu Star-Bulletin reported on a planned American raid on the Japanese home islands on April 14, 1942. It specified that a fleet built around the USS Hornet was leaving Midway, and that American piloted B-25s would attack major Japanese cities.[1]

On May 26, 1942, the Star-Bulletin reported that the Yorktown had been sunk.[2] On May 27, the newspaper was shut down by the Navy and War Departments.[3]
