The Hellenic Traders series is a series of historical novels written by Harry Turtledove and published under the the pseudonym H.N. Turteltaub. Tor published four novels (Over the Wine-Dark Sea, The Gryphon's Skull, The Sacred Land, and Owls to Athens) between 2001 and 2004. The series is set during the Hellenistic Period of Ancient Greece from 310 BCE through 306 BCE, just over a decade after the death of Alexander the Great.
