After Tor allowed the series to go out of print, PhoenixPick acquired the rights and published the series under Turtledove's proper name from 2013 through 2015. Moreover, Turtledove published a fifth volume, ''[[Salamis (novel)|Salamis]]'', in November 2020. The novel takes place concurrent with the [[Battle of Salamis (306 BC)]].
