Perpertual Motion Ranch by Laura Bannon, from Pecos Bill: The Greatest Cowboy of All Time by James Cloyd Bowman (1937)
In the Pecos Bill stories, his establishment is called either the Hell's Gate Gulch Ranch or the Perpetual Motion Ranch. As the whimsical stories do not hold up to much analysis, trying to determine the distinction between the two ranches is quite beside the point.
Hell's Gate Gulch Ranch in "Slue-Foot Sue and the Witch in the Woods"[]
After her unplanned world tour, Slue-foot Sue returned to Hell's Gate Gulch Ranch with the spoils of her battle with Baba Yaga.[1]
