The Heiwa Maru (Peace Ship) was the ship that carried the Yeti Lama and his retinue to Eureka, Jefferson in August 1979. He was met aboard by the Governor of Jefferson, Bill Williamson. During the photo session, Williamson made a point of including the Heiwa Maru's skipper and crew in the pictures.[1]
