Heinrich Anielewicz (b. 1954) was the youngest of the three children of Mordechai and Bertha Anielewicz. He was named for Heinrich Jäger, a German deserter who had helped Mordechai save the city of Lodz from an explosive-metal bombing in 1944, at the end of the Race Invasion of Tosev 3.

In the early 1960s, the Anielewicz family lived in Lodz. Heinrich had a fondness for animals, adopting a beffel which had arrived with the Race's Colonization Fleet, and naming it Pancer (Tank). This childish decision saved the family when Pancer warned them of a fire, which had been set in their apartment by the NKVD assassin David Nussboym.

During the Race-German War of 1965, the family evacuated Lodz before it was hit by a German atomic bomb. While Mordechai was out fighting on the front line, Bertha and the children were captured by Germans and pressed into de facto slavery on Gustav Kluge's farm.
