The Hanno was an exploration starship of the Federacy's Survey Service. In 2688 FSY, the Hanno went on an expedition to the planet Bilbeis IV. As the planet had already been visited by the Jeng Ho two years earlier, such a swift return was unprecedented. It was, however, mandated by the shocking discovery of the cult of Queen-Goddess Sabium and all which that implied. Also a first was that the starship had a mixed crew including people from widely differing affiliations, including people of the Noninterference Foundation. Roupen Hovannis, External Affairs Director of the Survey Service, commanded the vessel.
