The Grosvenor Hotel was a hotel in 1990s New Liverpool. Because of its close proximity to the Upper California headquarters of the Royal American Mounted Police, Lieutenant General Sir Horace Bragg and his staff stayed there while investigating the theft of The Two Georges.

On the evening of Sir Horace's arrival, he had dinner in the hotel's restaurant with Colonel Thomas Bushell and discussed the case with him. Being fatigued from the long train ride, Sir Horace retired to his room after dinner. Bushell, rather than going home, wandered into the hotel's bar. He was joined shortly afterwards by Captain Patricia Oliver who entered the bar for a nightcap. The two discussed the case until after one in the morning.[1]
