Great River Province, named for the waterway, was a serf-owning province in Northern Detina that went with "King" Geoffrey's new country during the Detinan Civil War.
After the its destruction outside of Ramblerton, the main remnants of the Army of Franklin withdrew to this province and replaced the erratic command of Bell with that of Richard the Haberdasher. It surrendered at the end of the war.
Camphorville was one of the major cities of the province.

The province of Great River is based on the state of Mississippi, which is named after the great Mississippi River.
