The Geller Family was one of the three Jewish families that escaped from Puck, Poland in December 1939, just ahead of the Holocaust. The other two families were the Friedmans and Korczaks.

Isaac and Bertha Geller, with their son and daughter, took part in Berel Friedman's meager attempt to celebrate the traditional memorial day of Chanukah in his home. They then followed "Emes" the golem to the Puck docks and boarded a rickety fishing boat, and, through a suitable additional miracle, were able to arrive safely at sanctuary in Sweden.[1]
