Truck

The GMC Deuce-and-a-Half was the most common military truck employed by the Allied Forces during World War II and at least the second-most common military vehicle (possibly behind the Willys MB jeep) used by same. It was mass-produced by the American auto company General Motors and was given as part of Lend-Lease aid packages to many other Allied nations. The Soviet Union acknowledged that it was invaluable to their war effort.

The Deuce-and-a-Half's commonness in Germany following the end of World War II allowed many German Freedom Front "Werewolves" impersonating Allied personnel to commandeer the trucks. One such loaded its entire 5000-pound capacity bed with TNT and used the explosives to destroy the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg in 1945.
