The Freedom Youth Corps was the youth wing of the Confederate Freedom Party prior to and during the Second Great War. Confederate youths (white and Hispanic) were encouraged to join the Corps, which provided paramilitary training and shortened the effective period of conscription. The Youth Corps also provided political indoctrination. Near the end of the War, in 1943-44, the C.S. mobilized Youth Corps into home guard militias and the National Assault Force.
