Earl[1] Florizel was a planter who became the Colonel of a Palmettan regiment in "King" Geoffrey's Army of Franklin during the Detinan Civil War. Prior to the battle of Sentry Peak, he was been wounded in the leg; this saved his life, as his second-in-command Thersites took over for him in that battle and was killed by a firepot.
