Bridge of the Separator (Baen, 2005) is a novel set in Harry Turtledove's Videssos Series. It is a prequel work, set before all of the other volumes in the series (except for the short work "The Decoy Duck"), but is the most recent volume published. It details the origins of Rhavas, a persistent villain who plagues the Empire of Videssos in most other volumes of the series. Rhavas is the novel's sole POV character.
