These are the fictional stage plays and musicals that are described or at least mentioned in Broadway Revival by Laura Frankos
Dateline: Hong Kong[]
Dateline: Hong Kong was a wretched flop from 2050. Both David Greenbaum and Ramon Abarca had loved it as kids, and that love had helped them to bond as adults. A line from the musical, "Alone, alone! Alone amidst eight million souls!" was a catch phrase between the two.[1]
Owl in the Moonlight[]
Owl in the Moonlight was a solo work by Pappadakis. David Greenbaum was part of the ensemble in a production of the musical.[2]
Versailles[]
Versailles was a 21st century musical about the 1919 Paris Peace Conference. John Foster Dulles was a prominent character and so a desirable role. David Greenbaum played Dulles in production in the 2070s. His spouse, Ramon Abarca, played a doughboy. While the musical had done well, Abarca was jealous of Greenbaum's comparative success, and moved out to submerge himself in his Tantalus 3 addiction.[3]
