Fat Mama is a city in Peachtree Province in the Kingdom of Detina. At one point during the Detinan Civil War, Northern general Bell given the opportunity to attack royal Southron forces outside Fat Mama, he inexplicably refused, claiming he would expose his wing to catapult fire, a threat which no other Northern officer perceived and which the South, in fact, was not capable of producing.
Literary Comment[]
The action at Fat Mama is based on the American Civil War Battle of Adairsville, Georgia, which is alternately known as the Battle of Cassville. The name "Fat Mama" is an allusion to the entertainer Mama Cass Elliot (1941-1974).
