Everett is the county seat of and the largest city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It lies 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. The city had a total population of 103,019 at the 2010 census, making it the 7th largest in the state and fifth-largest in the Puget Sound area.

Everett in The Hot War[]

Everett was heavily damaged by a Soviet atomic bomb on March 2, 1951. The actual target was Seattle. However, the bomb landed in between the two cities.[1]
