Luftwaffe Oberleutnant Ernst Neulen (d. 1947) was a member of the German Freedom Front. In July 1947, Neulen and a Flakhiferin known only as Mitzi seized an American C-47. After killing pilots Wes Adams and Sandy Nagy,[1] Neulen and Mitzi piloted the plane to Berlin with the express purpose of crashing the plane into the courthouse where certain German officials were to be tried for war crimes. Mitzi bailed out before the crash, but neither she nor Neulen knew that her parachute had been sabotaged by the GFF. Neulen brought the plane in directly onto the courthouse.[2]
