El Mejor Mozo de Espana is a Spanish language play wtitten by Spanish soldier and playwright Lope de Vega, honoring the fifteenth-century Spanish King Ferdinand II and his queen, Isabella of Castille, for whom King Philip II's daughter was named.

It was written in 1597 while de Vega was stationed in England and was first performed there before an audience which included England's Queen Isabella and King Albert. Isabella was played by Catalina Ibanez. It was written in the Spanish style, three acts as opposed to the English five.
