The Doshoweh Sentinel was the chief English language newspaper in The Six Nations and operated out of the capital Doshoweh. In 1995 when The Two Georges was stolen, the ransom note included a photograph of the painting with a hand and arm thrusting a copy of the Sentinel with a headline on the theft in front of it.[1]
