Donna was the former love of Tom Crowell. They'd fallen in love in the 1960s, but their relationship fell apart dramatically in the 1970s. Donna preferred the 1960s, even working at a record store called Barefoot Sounds. As a consequence of year-conditioning, Donna and Tom were able to rekindle their relationship. Tom even took the extra step of leaving his job and joining Donna at Barefoot.
