Don Jorge de las Torres is a POV character from Robert Adams' Horseclans series, which is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth. He is from the Four Kingdoms of Mexico in the 26th century. A low-born man, Torres works his way up to a knighthood and eventually the kingship of a Fifth Kingdom carved out of Texas, and becomes known as El Rey del Norte.
