Dinwass was a scientist and author who wrote A Rationale for the Development and Change of Living Forms through Time, which proposed the theory of evolution. The paleontologist Ontinil explained the theory to Rekek and Junior. When Rekek interrupted to ask about what role the gods played, Ontinil assured him that evolution and belief in the World Egg were not mutually exclusive.
Rekek and Junior understood the gist of what Ontinil told them, but Rekek wasn't sure if he accepted Dinwass' proposal.[1]
