The Dämmerwald is a forest located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, near the town of Teufelstein.
Dämmerwald in The Hot War[]
The Dämmerwald was effectively ruined by the Soviet advance into West Germany during World War III. After the nearby town of Raesfeld fell to the Soviets, NATO snipers targeted Soviet officers from the cover of the ravaged forest.[1]
