The City of Craig is a Home Rule Municipality that is the County seat and the most populous city of Moffat County, Colorado, United States. Craig was founded in 1889. At the 2000 census, there were over 9,000 residing in Craig.
Craig briefly became the de facto capital of the United States when Moffatt Administration moved there before launching the final failed uprising against the Krolp. When the previous capital, Grand Junction, was completely destroyed by the Krolp, the government left Craig.
