Crack cocaine, also known simply as crack, is a free base form of cocaine that can be smoked. Crack offers a short but intense high to smokers, and is generally considered to be the most addictive form of cocaine. Crack first saw widespread use in primarily impoverished inner city neighborhoods in the United States in late 1984 and 1985; its rapid increase in use and availability is sometimes termed as the "crack epidemic".
Crack cocaine in "Gilgamesh and the Homeboys"[]
The members of the Slidin 60s Crips both used and sold crack. Slidin 60s member Whiteman used some before he and other members of the gang encountered Gilgamesh.[1] After that encounter, the surviving members used crack that they'd originally planned to sell.[2]
