Consolidated Cropdusting was an agricultural business in California's Central Valley, headquartered in Fresno. Krikor Agajanian headed the business. In 1952, Bruce McNulty, a bomber pilot of the just-ended Third World War, signed on with the company, as it was the highest-paying job he could find (though the salary was nevertheless low), and it seemed like fun. McNulty asked Agajanian for a $25 weekly salary, but had to settle for $15.[1]
