Cloviston Province was a province in the Kingdom of Detina. During the Detinan Civil War it remained loyal King Avram, but many Cloviston citizens sided Grand Duke Geoffrey in his attempt to create a separate northern kingdom.
Literary comment[]
Cloviston is based on Kentucky. Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, and Clovis is the Frankish root name of Louis.
