Claudia Drucker (b. 1950) was the middle child and only daughter of Johannes and Käthe Drucker. As the daughter of a high-ranking officer in Nazi Germany's Reich Rocket Force, Claudia enjoyed many advantages in her youth. Although her mother was briefly imprisoned in 1962 on suspicion of having Jewish blood, Claudia and her brothers were one generation removed from the taint, and thus not in jeopardy under the race laws of the Reich.

At this time, Claudia, like many German maidens, became obsessed with a certain brand of doll from the United States.

During the Race-German War of 1965, Claudia evacuated from Greifswald to Neu Strelitz with the rest of the family. She stayed with her mother and her younger brother Adolf after her older brother Heinrich joined the Volkssturm. After her father made his way back to the family, they settled at his new posting in Flensburg.
