Chorny was the nickname of a major in the Soviet Red Army during the Afghan war. His nickname meant Black, after the "Black Tulip" airplane. He was aboard the Tulip that carried Sergei's "remains" back home. In truth, the coffin was packed with sand, as Sergei had been completely incinerated by the Dragon of Bulola. Chorny already hated such trips, but the circumstances of this trip led him to drink throughout the entire flight.
