Chariomerus was a Cherusci warrior, and a clansmate of Sigimerus and Arminius. In AD 7 he traveled to Pannonia to inform Arminius that Segestes had broken off Arminius' betrothal to his daughter Thusnelda and reassigned her to marry Tudrus.
Literary comment[]
This fictional character shares a name with the last Cherusci king (flourished late 1st century), who is believed to have been a grandson of Flavus.
